    Summer is in full swing here at Green Farm. All the Shetland sheep were shorn last week so thay are feeling a little less hot.

The chickens are busy laying and another 6 chicks have hatched with a few more hatching as I write this! And we have yet another Patterdale dog.....Misty, Tiggy's 2 year old son has come back to live with us! He has had to learn our ways quickly, especially not to chase the chickens....very tempting!

Very sad news about Lulu, our old donkey , who collapsed one night and died. We all miss her, especially her companion Bede. But at least he has Bubbles & Smudge, the other 2 donkeys to keep him company.

And on the 'bee' front, we now have 5 hives after a swarm was collected from the village....very exciting! And our first crop of honey was taken off last night. All ready for you to enjoy with your toast for breakfast!
